Our Focus on 'Giving Back'
Our aim is to make a positive difference to the world around
us.
Talent2 is a values-driven organisation that aims to practice what
it preaches. Our mission is to be a force of betterment that turns
organisations into dynamic and exciting places to work, and we do
this through taking all stakeholder relationships seriously, so we
can enable people to the power of 2. Our 'Giving Back' philosophy
is firmly built on the foundation our belief of putting People
First - people are at the centre of our world in everything we do,
how we act and what we say.

Creating shared value for all is a fundamental part of the way we
do business. As an organisation, we have a real and every day focus
on the community and the environment we live in. We take our role
as a Corporate Citizen very seriously and support our people in the
many initiatives we have across the globe, and at a local level,
which centre on a range of fantastic causes.
We set our policies for CSR activities in accordance with the CSR
Policy of Talent2 International Group 2011. In order to clarify the
direction of the CSR activities of our group, we set the CSR
Objectives on an annual basis. Our overarching CSR objective
is as stated below:
"We are resolved to develop initiatives globally to contribute to
society and the environment based on our corporate philosophy of
People First."
From this core objective, our CSR policy covers six areas:
- Contributing to the Broader Community
- Valuing Our People
- Our Commitment to Sustainability
- Focus on the Environment
- Corporate Governance
- Responsible Business Practices
CSR Policy of Talent2 International Group
1. Contributing to the Broader Community
Economic Development
Talent2 operates globally and has offices based throughout
Australasia, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, the United Kingdom and
the United States. We are committed to partnering with the
governments and local communities in these areas to make a positive
contribution to their economic, social and environmental
initiatives.
Community Support
Talent2 is a values-driven organisation and we know that our
people's passion to make a difference is not limited to their
professional lives. Talent2 believes that as an organisation
we have a responsibility to participate in, and make a contribution
to, the communities in which we live and work.
All Talent2 employees receive Charity Leave, entitling them to a
day's paid leave per year to work for a registered charity or
appropriate not-for profit organisation.
As well as direct corporate donations and staff fund-raising
(which in the past have ranged from natural disasters around the
world, providing learning software to mentoring organisations,
through to sponsoring a football team in Oman), Talent2 also
provides tailored recruitment and HR outsourced services for a
number of not-for-profit organisations. We take great pride
in the long-standing close relationships we have forged with these
organisations.
The Talent2 Foundation
Talent2 is establishing the Talent2 Foundation to drive our
philanthropic mission and embody our corporate social
responsibility commitment. The Talent2 Foundation provides a
consolidated and coordinated approach to charitable activity across
the Australia business, with Foundation Committees to be
established progressively in other countries.
Through the Foundation, Talent2 will provide support to specific
not-for-profit sectors that are aligned with Talent2's values and
core offerings. Our key identified sectors are:
- Children & Youth Services (with a focus on Education)
- Job Skills & Training
- Disaster Recovery
- The Talent2 Foundation acts to achieve Talent2's corporate social responsibility objectives and will also provide assistance to Talent2 employees to achieve their own personal philanthropic goals
Our essence is People First and ensuring our employees are
provided with a positive, safe and fair working environment is
paramount.
Talent2 operates within a defined set of values and behaviours
which drive our business practices and are supported by a
suite of policies and procedures which are available at all times
to our staff via our global intranet.
Talent2 has an open and non-hierarchical culture, where senior
leaders engage with staff at all levels. We actively focus on
employee engagement and use the results of our annual global
employee engagement survey to develop division level strategies to
increase engagement through development, training, acknowledgement
and creation of meaningful careers for staff.
Our regular HR policy reviews ensure Talent2 adopts modern
approaches to management.
Recruitment
Talent2 understands its values deeply and to a behavioural level,
and all employees are screened through behavioural interviews to
ensure their fit.
Our recruitment practices and employment value proposition (EVP)
position Talent2 as an employer of choice; EVP Councils of
representative staff across all business units advise the executive
team on how to make Talent2 a great place to work.
Equal Opportunity
To Talent2, equal opportunity means ensuring our employment
policies and practices are based on, and operate according to, the
principle of merit. This policy applies to job applicants,
current employees, suppliers and clients of Talent2.
We are committed to ensuring that in all aspects of our
operations, we do not show partiality to, or discriminate against,
any employee or group of employees. This is supported by the
foundation of our corporate values and our EEO policy. A copy of
our full policy is available on request.

Talent2 is very proud of its diverse workforce and is committed to
hiring the best candidates for any given position regardless of
gender, age, ethnic background or religion.
Occupational Health and Safety
Talent2 has extensive Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)
policies and processes in place that protect all employees, whether
they are based in a Talent2 office or on a client site.
In every location across our global business we have trained
OH&S officers, First Aid officers and Fire Wardens, and every
General Manager takes responsibility for OH&S in their
business.

place, and conduct regular site visits to ensure our contractors
are properly protected.

throughout our business. We recognise the importance of operating
with clear and relevant sustainability practices in order to manage
the social, environmental and economic repercussions of our daily
work life.

maintain an ongoing strategy that addresses sustainable procurement
of all goods and services, and the reduction of our ecological
footprint.
Our continued aim is to work with other organisations that also
practice and value sustainability.
Talent2 undertakes to educate our people about climate change and
what they can do in their personal and professional lives to lessen
their impact on our planet. We are committed to tangible measures
of our stated commitment.
We respond to climate change initiatives proposed by our people
and aim to use resources efficiently wherever possible to minimise
water and energy consumption and waste.
Talent2 promotes and maintains environmentally responsible

communities in which we operate. We conduct and develop our

strives for continuous improvement through the development of
specific programs that address the environmental cost and impact of
our activities and services.
Talent2 is committed to:
- Complying with applicable regulations and standards to which we subscribe;
- Preventing pollution, reducing waste and consumption of resources such as materials, fuel and energy and commit to recovery and recycling, as opposed to disposal wherever feasible;
- Sharing environmental solutions with all stakeholders;
- Giving emphasis to preventative rather than corrective action;
- Regular monitoring of technology to reduce consumption of resources; and
- Reviewing our activities to develop objectives and targets to minimise the impact of the business on the local environment and develop appropriate programs to achieve these objectives.
Carbon Footprint Management
Talent2 has analysed the main components of our carbon footprint
(which happen to be air travel, electricity usage and paper
consumption, in that order) and actively works to reduce our
footprint through impact reduction strategies.
We encourage video conference usage rather than reliance on
face-to-face meetings. Our offices use recycled paper and
employ secure waste services that recycle all paper products.
As our offices are refitted, light sensors are installed. Our
recruitment staff optimise candidate travel to ensure unnecessary
travel to interviews doesn't occur. Talent2 offices actively
comply with all building management recycling programs (driven by
the facilities in which we work) and include energy efficiency as
one of our building selection criteria when new premises are
required.
Board of Directors
The Talent2 Board of Directors is responsible for the corporate
governance practices of Talent2 International Limited and its
controlled entities. As with all its business activities,
Talent2 is proactive in relation to corporate governance and puts
in place those arrangements that it believes are in the best
interests of the business and our shareholders. Talent2
actively reviews corporate governance developments in Australia and
overseas, and where appropriate, modifies policies and practices to
comply with best practice.

Principles

Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations 2nd
edition. Copies of these are available in compliance with the
ASX Recommendations.
